Hospital rules and regulations
The hospital is a sacred place where peace and quiet must be maintained all the time. Here, patients recover from any trauma or surgery they have experienced and they try to regain some of the energy they have lost. Patients suffering from certain diseases are kept inside the hospital to prevent spreading it and giving themselves time to recover.
Some people just don’t understand the importance of the rules inside the hospital. These rules need to be observed for the betterment of the patients. Visitors should be able to follow these rules as there are put up for a certain reason.
If you are planning to visit someone who is admitted in this health care facility, do not bring along items such as tobacco and alcohol. Smoking cigarettes, even electronic ones like direct e-cig is not allowed because these contain chemicals. These chemicals, once they are activated and emitted as a by-product will be spread around the hospital area and this is something bad for the patients and the other people inside. Apart from this, if you smoke cigarettes, you have to use a lighter which creates a flame. Hospital equipment such as oxygen tanks are found inside and this easily explode when there is fire or even flame. Never attempt to light one in any case.
This is the same case with alcohol. Giving patients alcoholic beverages are not allowed because it may be contraindicated with their prescribed diet. Drinking means getting drunk and when you are drunk, you become destructive or you may interfere with others. As much as possible, you are not allowed to drink direct e-cig, vodka or anything else like these.
If you are going to visit a friend who is a patient in the hospital and you’re bringing any kids, make sure that you keep them well-behaved. You can’t have them running around the area because there are weak patients and kids may bump into them. Accidents may happen so make sure that they stay put inside the room or they are near you where you can see them.
If you are in hospital grounds, too much music or any noise is definitely not permitted. As we all know, patients who have experienced accidents or undergone a certain surgery needs time to rest and build up strength. Patients cannot get any peace if it is too noisy. Birds probably can’t even sleep with all the ruckus. Avoid bringing radios, players and loud speakers inside the hospital. Or if you really want to bring one, make sure that you play it in a low volume and as softly as you can.
